Quantitative Developer - Full time

Are you looking to better yourself as a Quantitative software developer?

Factorial Technologies is looking for a Quantitative developer to expand the Quant development team. This is an energetic team of highly qualified professionals with extensive knowledge of financial markets (OTC derivatives & securities), programming and mathematics. Our responsibility is to provide the quantitative expertise to (1) support clients in the financial sector that run our (derivatives) valuation and risk models; (2) develop the Optimum Prime software suite for derivative valuations and risk calculations and (3) provide advice to traders and risk managers on quantitative topics. The Quant development team comprises of people with a strong open source philosophy leveraging on open source packages such as Strata, QuantLib and Open Risk Engine (ORE).

What you'll do

- Develop new quantitative models for clients
- Extend Optimum Primes valuation and risk software suite
- Perform risk management and OTC derivatives valuation calculations 
- Provide support on the different quantitative topics
- The position offers excellent opportunities to excel in what you do and to broaden your modelling skills, as well as exposure to a dynamic and Agile working environment

How To Succeed

- An academic degree (MSc or PhD) in a quantitative field, preferably (financial) mathematics, econometrics or software engineering
- 0-2 years of experience, with familiarity with financial markets and the most important developments. Familiarity with derivatives pricing and risk calculations is a plus
- Strong knowledge and experience with programming languages, such as C++, Java and/or Python
- Intention to develop your knowledge in either financial markets, programming or mathematics
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English
- Constructive attitude and pro-active team player
